Seriously! Did you know that fashion is a spiritual experience?
You’re out running errands downtown and you’ve got your favorite local coffee in hand. Rockin’ a bold lip? *check* Winged eyeliner sharp as your future? *check* Marking all the things off your to-do list? *triple check*
While wearing that cute, new sweater you bought from your favorite boutique, someone compliments your outfit. They even ask, “Where did you get that?”. Now, how do you feel? How does your style feel to you? Do you feel confident? Feel like you are on your “A-Game”?
I know for me, when I’m wearing my favorite statement pieces, I feel like I can accomplish anything! The truth is, our style often represents how we feel on the inside. Why? Because fashion is a spiritual experience. When we look and feel good, we step into our God-given power! So what would it look like if we could accomplish this “look good, feel good” mentality everyday?
Fashion is Spiritual
When I first started Spirituality Untamed, I had a mission to empower women. I wanted women to live free, wild, and untamed spiritual lives. But after a while, I felt like something was missing. Now, I have more clarity than ever!
One of the essential aspects of having a free, wild, and untamed spirit is the confidence to do so. I want women to feel brave and bold in pursuing their gifts and passions. With that, how women view themselves plays a huge role in how they show up. Which is why I am now incorporating fashion and style into these spiritual practices. I will be teaching women how to feel cute and confident in their every day life.
The best part?
Style is ever-changing and unique to each individual. There is no “right or wrong” way to have style. We all have our preferences and what makes us feel confident looks different for others. And of course fashion can (and should be) affordable! By putting together different trends and styles, my goal is to help women look and feel their very best. Fashion has always been a passion of mine and if I can incorporate style with Spirituality, then so be it!
